Bill Tumbleson   Bill has been around aviation since high school. By age 18, he had already obtained his Private, Commercial, and Multi-engine certificates. In 1954, Bill sold his first aircraft and then he and his father opened up Tumbleson Aviation that served as an FBO and Cessna Dealership. In 1968, he was recognized as the #1 Cessna aircraft salesman in the world, and later became V.P. at Cessna’s largest dealership that was selling over 400 aircraft per year. After that, Bill moved on to opening up a Piper franchise and FBO in IL, and then his skills were sought out to aide with expansion and aircraft sales at Signal Aviation in Chattanooga, TN. He then moved on to Nashville, TN, where he specialized in Mitsubishi aircraft, and within 5 years turned the company into the largest re-seller of Mitsubishi aircraft in the world. In 1999, he then passed his company, Nashville Jet Associates, Inc., on to his son Blake Tumbleson. Bill’s outstanding level of success in his career of aircraft sales, which he attributes to integrity, would make a great book…And he is working on one.
